Today we purchased brass for the bow and stern stems for the canoe and kayak.
It is 3/16 by 1/2 inch.
Formed it by heating it and bending it to it's spot.
Drilled and countersunk holes for the screws, then wire buffed.
Set the stems in thickened epoxy and set the screws.
